MOLE ATTACK!!!

I am up at this insane hour amking this post becaus eit simply had to be done in the moment.
I was just awakened by this horrible SCREACHING noise. First off its been a strange night anyway tornado warnings all night, golf ball sized hail pelting the house most of the evening just weird weather. Ok so..when it rains hard sometimes the water rises enough to get in the house, but it didnt quite get that bad tonight but ig got bad enough to somehow run in a little rodent friend . This screaching was so very very strange to wake up to. I get up and immediately notice a strange smell..smells like dirt,damp-earth-dirt musky-cant explain it-very - wild smell.
I flip on the lights and see Bitty in the corner looking perplexed. In front of him is a little furry something running around in circles . Now I'm half awake and my first thought is Ohh nooo I'm going to have to clean up blood *sigh*  cause it looks like a mouse without a head...and im thinking damn its running around and doesnt know its dead yet.But i get closer and realize as my eyes adjust to the light that it has a head .Its very much intact.Its a mole. And its running in circles backwards with its tail straight up. The source of the smell his defense mechanisms . SO  hes screaching and flipping in circles looking for something to burrow into. Except for they're blind or close to it I think. I grab a wine carafe ( dont ask) and set it behind him and he backs straight into it . I flip it up so hes in the bottom and cant climb out . Ohhhh he raised holy hell!! the noise that tiny little thing made and Good God he stank! the cat was watching completely amused at the whole scene I do believe. SO i sat the carafe down threw on a long t-shirt. Then I carried him outside and let him go..in the dark in the rain no less...*rolls eyes* Wow what a weird way to wake up. I have to go light a candle now to get the musky smell out of my room.
By the way my cats have killed moles before, but they never ever eat them.They just would leave them for me to find on the porch. Now i know why...damn they smell funky.

NEW NEKO

So I brought the kitty fron work home, she stays hid in the back yard mostly but she has a dry place to sleep (shed out back ) and she eats well ( alot too ) So a nmatter of time maybe she'll be comfortable with the family round here. I love my new schedule at work, and my job is easy breezy so. all is well for now. :D thanks for droppin' by

I made a new friend at work this week.

As I was leaving the office building and heading to lunch , I heard a very distincive MEOW!
I look over intothe shrubbery and theres thisextremely pretty but extremely skinny kitty.And of course he wont let anyone near him, but he just keeps sqauling. So I go down to the local pet store and buy a case of canned Fancy Feast cat food, the kind that cats cant resist the smell of .
Everyday now I go out onl lunch and break and put a can out for him. I got to pet him yesterday. YAY!
Looks like I'm going to be plus one cat soon * crosses fingers*

BAH!

home with a migraine today. Head feels like it could split open any minute. Mondays are bad enough without pain. BAH!

aghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

this week has been entirely toooooooo long!!!!!
I cannot wait for the weekend to start. Grrr

I stepped out of work very late after a long tedious day at work, into an absolutley gourgeous night.

I don't know if I can describe it. It was balmy almost. The sky was  a deep blue, not bright out but not yet dark. Overcast a bit, and you could smell the rain getting ready to roll in. It was calm , a little breeze flowing and it felt like pure freedom. It was so strange. Like being sixteen again. Like the world had opened its arms and said "anything is possible at this moment" It was almost magical. I just stood in it for I don't know how long taking it all in. there is something so comforting to me about the night, and I love the time of year whereits as if you are standing in the doorway between the seasons, experiencing the best of both at once.

On the way home the rain began. I took in a deep breath and a mixed odor of cutgrass, wild onions and fresh rain made me feel like i could drive on alllllll night. It turned fron deep blue to black and he rain ell in huge glops, not drops, but glops onto my windshield and i felt like i coulfd feel the bass beat of the night  in the sound of the rain. A rare moment and i savored every bit of it. magic exists little these days but i swear I felt it tonight.

Yeah so life has been kicking me about. I have been lax on my posting. Not that many would notice :P

My Dad had his surgery and is doing great. I have a new job that means I can sleep late in the mornings > Love it.

My tamagotchi has been in pieces on the counter for I dont even remember how long now. I did surgery on it and then forgot about it. :(

Two of my best friends will soon be getting married. not to each other. They each told me recently that they and their respective partners are going to make the plunge.

I hope to get a new house and a motorcycle after this new job kicks in.

Ok caught up? Good, I need to play Star Wars now.

My tamagotchi has 9 lives.
once, I apparently banged it around a little too hard and the screen went blank. I was so upset that my tama was gone that I put it in my purse so I didnt have to look at it. it made me sad. Later that day I took it out to mourn over it and voila! There was my tama back! yay!

Well...today it drowned.
Yep.

I went to the bathroom and set my purse on the shelf in the stall ( for you guys..womens stalls in the nicer facilities have a shelf for you to set your purse on ) so my purse was open, and it tipped over and the tama SHOT out of it and went straight into the toilet. I mean it looked like nemo makin a break for it! I was so upset ! Luckily there was no one else in the bathroom to hear the NOO!!! *plopsplasH!* would have been hard to explain I think.
Also the bathroom had just been cleaned and I hadn't used it yet so what else...in goes the hand to save the tama! I was again too upset to look at  it anymore after seeing a blank screen so I wrapped it in paper towels and put it in my purse. I just couldn't throw it away. Then when I got in the car  to go home I decided to look at it , and there he was rolling happily around the screen! How funny!
So i got him a new battery and opened him up to dry all the parts out. Thinks I'll name him miles or sabbath next time. ( you Emily the Strange fans get that ; I know you do  =D  )

I have sooooo been looking forward to this weekend. 4 days of fun. I love it.
